This story pissed me off because it reminds me how I almost got caught up because of one loud mouth nikka.

So when I was in college, I had a part time job at a cellphone store. I worked with another college student called “James”. Me, James and the manager “Clive” were the only black people working in the store. There were a few CACs and the rest were Arab.

Now me and Clive were really cool. Almost like a father/son type relationship (I never called him daddy though ), and he took me on full time once I graduated and did the same for James.

Now me and James were tight. We discovered a loophole that allowed us to “boost” phones. Only us two knew about it. I won’t go into detail but let’s just say we were able to sell top range phones with 100% profit. We would make a minimum of 1000 per week. Add that to our basic salary plus commission, and we were making at least 6000 a month. 12,000 on a good month.

I was making so much at one point, I had to keep the cash in my secret stash point. Making those large deposits every month would’ve aroused too much suspicion and Uncle Sam. We were low key. Didn’t buy flash clothes, jewellery etc. Our plan was to use that money to get a deposit on a mortgage and rent out the property.

So two smart brothers who were gaming the system, looking to use it for a legit investment. So what could possibly go wrong you think?

One ignorant ass nikka. And this nikka was James’ cousin, “Gavin”.

Now Gavin was a known fukk boy. He had been fired or left every job for being a hot head or doing some shifty shyt. Now he could sell anything like a mother. He he had charisma but he was way too ignorant.

James’ spoke to Clive to hook Gavin up. I was hesitant because James told me about his behavior in the past. I didn’t want him fukking up our hustle. Clive asked me whether he should hire him or not. I told him straight it’s his decision , I didn’t want to get involved in the hiring process. He ended up taking him on which turned out to be the biggest mistake.

James wanted to bring Gavin in on our hustle to add 33% to our revenue. I told him hell no because Gavin sounded and looked like the type to blow up the spot. But this fool James was going on saying “yo he’s family, I’m just trying to help him get back on his feet.” I told him to do him but I knew it was going on end in tears.

Now I’m sure Clive has an idea what was going on but he was on that “see no evil, hear no evil” tip. If it were to go down, he can just claim plausible deniability.

So a few months into Gavin’s probation period, this fool is inviting the most loud mouth ignorant ass nikkas into the store. nikkas loudly shouting “Yo Gavin, I heard this where you can give us the hook up.”

I had to pull him to the side like Ace did with Rico. Told this nikka to stop blowing up the spot. He’s drawing way too much attention and those hating as Arabs would snitch on us in a second. This fool told me to go and fukk myself. Brehs, I was about to knock him the fukk out. I hadn’t laid hands on anyone since high school, but I was this close. James had to calm me down.

I was like fukk this. I planned on leaving they store within the next two months. I already had a job lined up but I decided to speed up the process. I knew shyt was going to go down eventually. I saw this fool on Facebook ADVERTISING to come to our store to get the hook up. I felt like Caine when O-Dog was showing the tape. I told James to check his cousin but he couldn’t. That fool was a loose canon.

Literally a month before I was about to leave, 6 men in suits come into the store. I look at James like . One of the guys ask us “Is Clive in today?”. We call out Clive and he looks like he’s seen a ghost. They ask to speak to him in the back office. Gavin just happened to be with some customers and didn’t see them.

I said “fukk this”, took my lunch break and went straight home. James decided to stay. Apparently, they interviewed Gavin in the back office for 4 hours straight. One of those hating ass Arabs snitched on him. Gavin didn’t give us up but they had their suspicions he was colluding with me and James.

They were going to investigate me next. I simply took sick leave for the next two weeks and used my vacation time for the last two weeks of my resignation period. James quit immediately to avoid investigation.

Whats fukked up was I had planned a big lick just before I left. I would’ve cleared between 10-15k but that dumb ass nikka fukked it up.

Never again.
