Windhurst sold me on it. Lakers will have the two max slots available for free agency now if they renounce Randle and stretch Deng plus getting a 1st out of it even if it's in the mid 20s. That does give them a chance to either keep Randle if they strike out or if they get someone to agree to sign then they can easily match any offer he gets.

On the surface, I'm not crazy about this deal. We'll see how it plays out though.

I'm a little worried about IT being a cancer after what happened in Cleveland, especially with the team recently finding a rhythm. Seems likely they're gonna pay Randle in the offseason now.
