I don’t see the point in “shutting them down” it’s not like either of them are all-stars. Even if they are hurt announcing a “shut down” for a rookie and sophomore that didn’t get their team to the playoffs is a joke. They need to be playing if they are healthy or even 80/90%.

The reasoning basically given by Luke is so they can get to the off-season healthy and begin their training instead of being delayed by injuries.

I honest to god wouldn't mind having Gelo as a Laker. We love to waste roster spots on scrubs like Caruso and Ennis. At least bring in a shooter.

Good season..35 wins is more than anyone had us winning, we could have easily been 42-42 if not for injuries to a lot of guys.

- Lakers did a great job at the draft. Ball, Kuzma, and Hart can all play. Not sure if I am sold on TB like other people, but he is young and raw so he has a lot to go.
- KCP and Brook weren't that bad, both struggled at points but also had good games. Wouldn't mind having them back on 1 year deals if we strike out (not sure if they would go that route though).

Lakers badly need a good backup point guard, and a solid backup wing.

Wouldn't mind having Andre Ingram as a 3rd string.
