How tf this even possible breh? I skipped like 3-4 whole months of school during my senior year and I just had to take one after-school remedial class to graduate. Then again, my GPA fluctuated from like 3.5 to 1.9 at any given time due to depression so it's case by case. Still....0.13 cumulative??
When I started failing even a little bit, the only reason my mom didn't beat my ass is because the school was calling the wrong number for 3 months. And when she did find out, all my teachers had to have a school meeting with her.

As a school system, how do you allow a child to progress in school despite them failing at damn near every turn?
Why wait til his senior year to figure this out? Does the school not have counselors?
How many other students are going to fall victim to this shytty system? How the fukk is this allowed?
What can be done to get this school and its students back on the right track??? How the fukk is a 0.13 GPA the TOP HALF OF THE CLASS?

You right , I agree with everything you said btw, I’ll say this , she has to do better...I’m a teacher in one of roughest neighborhoods in Chicago, my principal is a black woman, we bend the rules all the time for parents if they come talk to us, the communication was broken somewhere, somebody may have helped him if he showed up to school more, school not gonna look past that shyt
