When is Black America going to stop this "WAIT AND SEE" approach and actually try to get some law passed? Travyon case been over for 2 years. Not a single "Stand Your Ground" law has been overturned. Body Cameras should be a FEDERAL LAW at this point but no laws passed. My generation isn't having it and the new generation coming up isn't having it either. This is going to be the new Civil Rights movement.

so some teacher on facebook with the name of Good Golly

posted a status on her facebook that she witness the police instigating the kids at the mall.

She said that it is normal for those kids to be there to catch the public transportation home since baltimore doesn't have zoned schools. the cops showed up and instigated the kids so thats when things popped off.

From what I understand there was the whole going around on Instagram Sunday night where kids were gonna get together at Mondawmin Mall. Mondawmin has a whole gang of buslines and the subway that all converge there so you have kids from like 8 different high schools that pass thru there. Plus theres a hs right across the street. Police heard about this supposed "purge" and shut down public transportation AFTER school let out and they were waiting for them. Its almost like they set these kids up to do this. So kids couldn't go home unless they lived in walking distance. Cops were basically fukking with the wrong kids

Considering the older generation have essentially failed they pretty much have to. But if you're between the ages of 25-55, the future our community is now our responsibility.

In 20-30 years if the black community is in shambles, the next generation is gonna say we failed them the same way nikkas say the civil rights generation failed us.

Go to any urban city, sever a black man's spine , then put police outside of a high school when school gets out, and watch what happens.

The FOI have NEVER CARRIED GUNS. THEY DO NOT CARRY ANY WEAPONS, PERIOD. This is part of the code of conduct that was established in 1930.

Also I don't' think it's right that people are blaming out parents for "Failing us". First the all the reason we can all go and see "The Avengers 2" and it not say "White Only Theater" is cause of what our parents did. Of course the struggle continues but they went through war in that shyt. If you didn't grow up in Jim Crow then you have no leg to stand on in dissing what our parents went through.

I had a very deep spiritual conversation with my Mom. I told her I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone cause of racism. She said I was right and that White Racism is a religion that will passed down long after she's gone. It was deep. We talked about her mother and my Grandmother growing up during "White Only" signs era. To think I'm only a few generations removed from that is beyond terrifying.

None of it made sense to me. Obviously we have no problem going to the crown jewel of the city the Inner Harbor and getting busy. We showed that Saturday. People aren't just gonna go into their own neighborhoods and tear shyt up unless provoked. They knew people were gonna riot at some point so they made sure they did it at home. And they made sure it was the one day the community said it wouldn't happen and that's the day of the funeral. Now its like what the fukk is gonna happen if/when these cops get off?
