Ray Lewis has passion yes but his loud "ACT" on that video didn't do it for me. Ray got some nerve going at the Youth with his violent past. He was just putting on a show for the dominate society. He wasn't speaking to the youth in that video. Now I understand he lived in B-more for years and I'm sure the images was hard for him. But that video was a mess. How you gonna start the video like you uplifting the youth and then tear them down at the end of the video talking about "These young kids ain't going to do this to our city". LOL, the young kids are going to be the City's Future. They need to be empowered but look how sadly older Black Folks are sh!tten on the youth and wonder why we starting to turn up.

That rant by Ray Lewis was just because he was scared. Scared of those same people coming back to arrest him. I had a much more controversial rant on him in his thread in the coliseum. But that thread got locked. So I'm going to keep this short rant "clean" so I don't get banned, because not only have I lost a ton of respect for Lewis, but I don't want anything to do with him.

His rant was not even what I call "c00nish", but it was PLANTATION speaking, NOT c00n speaking PLANTATION. Notice in his rant that he did not once speak about the police and how they murdered Freddie Gray. Notice how he did not speak on the police acting aggressively towards the protestors prior to the rioter, when the police I believe were throwing freaking rocks.

The thing that ticked me off the most was that he was trying to act as some guardian angel for Baltimore and the teenage "thugs" were the demons that have come to plague his precious city. Like they had to be eradicated. Ray Lewis, a man on murder trial for stabbing a man calling teenagers "thugs" and "violent", like some pseudo-preacher. His while tone during the rant was like he was rallying (white)people against young black people in some type of battle. Saying that they'll take back control of the city. Again acting as if he's the guardian angel of it. Again Ray Lewis a man who stabbed someone to death. Ray Lewis a guy I believe if I remember correctly was on speculated on using steroids and thus could have severely injured other players on the field.

Why should these "thugs" listen to or look up to a dumb bed buck grindiron neanderthal like Ray Lewis. And yeah I went there Ray Lewis fans(if he still has fans, I mean black fans)! He acts like these "thugs" owe him something, when HE himself owes them. Those "thugs" were the ones who BUILT Ray Lewis by buying his Jerseys, attending his games and watching him on TV. Ray Lewis in return did not "build" those "thugs" or Baltimore.

Ray Lewis in my opinion can **** off...:camby:

if only he would rant as loudly about the circumstances surrounding the severed spinal cord of Mr. Gray :wow:

Now that I think about it, if there was one thing I did want Ray to say or any of these Blacks celebrities going on TV. How about use the words "POLICE BRUTALITY". Why are black people so scared to say the words "POLICE" or "POLICE BRUTALITY". Most of the Blacks using those words are Community organizers and activist not the celeberites. That's why I told my Mom I felt like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Even Barack Obama did not use the words "Police Brutality". Considering that Police Brutality has been going on against Blacks for over 100 years you would think it would be easy to say. Honestly It's an easy word to say and it has power behind it cause it talks about injustice. Also people need to know these Police Unions are very powerful and they are in a lot of politicians pockets.
