What a beautiful thread this is. The coli ain’t the same as it once was but it’s still got its fastball. :wow:

Lakers fans and Kobe Stan’s were in here praying Bam wouldnt get to 82 while everybody else wanted to see him get it.

And everybody is reacting to it in real time and slowly coming to the realization that Bam Adebayo of all people is about to beat that 81 point game on a random Tuesday night in March against the trash Wizards :wow:

This is a HOF level thread
imgine if HEAT SET was as strong as 2012 on here :whew:

This is another problem with NBA fan culture. NBA culture is too political. Stans feel like these records are only supposed to be broken by a select few players or players they deem worthy. If Jokic goes for 83 in the same manner, then there is no debate on its ethics of how he did it. He’d get praise immediately and be hailed the GOAT. If a non American player like Wemby does it, then it just adds to his burgeoning legendary trajectory that NBA media and fandom thirst for and he’d get praise as well. But because it’s a regular Black American born and raised player Bam(yes he’s American through his mom and wasn’t raised around his pops), rather than one of “he got next” type of non American players, ppl treating this like it’s a travesty. Seeing a random like Bam between wilt and Kobe has folks in an uproar because NBA fan culture is so damn political. In the NFL, nobody gives a shyt who breaks certain sacred records. They get broken and ppl celebrate. :mjlol:
If Jokic sga Luka got it the way Bam did the noise would be twice as loud. :gucci::gucci: Bam is lucky he’s not a player with a bunch of Stan’s/haters like the other guys.

I knew the breh Call Me Kinfolk was gonna handle his business exposing this farce of a game :wow:

I blame Adam Silver, he's obsessed with "growin the game" outside of the American market
