Honestly brehs...I'd rather watch my own death repeatedly than to watch one minute of that show. Dead fukking serious...
I thought it was just Cinemax combined with hbo lolWatched it over the weekend- and as someone already mentioned, this was the ULTIMATE bait and switch.
Couple of points:
- The black girls who pledged (or mullatos) we're uncomfortably c00nish. I get not wanting to pledge a black soror, but to repeatedly say "I just have nothing in common with the black girls" is next level wenching. And then they had the nerve to talk about some racism?!
- The Director just breezed by the racist history of the school (<5min),
- She also spent very little time digging into the the School's illuminati (<10min)
- She did, however, spend 20 minutes talking about her journey with alopecia. Which while is important, it is not the reason people tuned in.
As to people asking why they changed their name change to Max:
HBO holds a certain cache and has significant value/goodwill due to its 30 years of award winning material. As their platform's portfolio becomes 95% non-HBO related, David Zaslav (CEO) wanted to distance the HBO brand from the gawd awful stuff you will find on TLC or the Cooking channel. This is why "HBO Presents" is only limited to a certain echelon of new content (Succession, White Lotus, GoT, etc).
FYI, Bama rush was a Max Original, not an HBO Original.

bruh, I am shouting at my wall (I have a projector). This bald bytch is a waste of time; I don't need to hear about your shyt when you DIDN"T EVEN GO TO THE SCHOOL.Co sign
I was confused as to why she was focusing on her alopecia so hard. The bi-racial girl was so boring and her storyline was just as stale as her personality.
Wrong messengerwhy do people on this forum feel so passionately about who other human beings are lusting/dating/fukking/married to?
