naw his motivation was different as well. Bane was in no way a anarchist. If anything he would wanted Gotham to remain as corrupt as possible and upheld the status quo that was there before batman. Bane in comics would not join the league of shadows.
Destroy the world there is money to be made.
The dark Knight got the joker right though.
But at one point in the comics Bane was set to join the League Of Assassins and was set to marry Talia until Batman beat him and Ra's threw him in the bushes. But you're right....his motivations and reasonings were a lil off compared to the comics.....

Lot of Bane lines and scenes are stuck in my head too.
at Bruce trusting Catwoman again after she locked him in a room with Bane. I can't trust you after that, especially after what Bane did to him. Doesn't matter if she came back and saved him. I would NOT be sitting at a table with you enjoying dinner after you tricked me into going inside a room with Bane waiting for me. 



I love the Joker, and you may disagree with the bolded, but you can't deny that Bane could have been as good if not better
