Who the hell did skyzoo write for?

I don’t think dude wrote for anybody.

But he started saying he was a "ghostwriter" during the era when all the failed rappers started feeling insecure about not popping, so they claimed to be writing for people on the low. Everybody that "ghosts" speaks on who they wrote for. But the dudes who lie about it, say they "can't say". That's when you know n*ggas are bullsh*tting.

It was a way to not look like a loser in Hip Hop, for a little while. Just say you ghostwrite. But all the actual ghostwriters who've done classic sh*t, and even regular joints can speak on the work. Sauce Money said it best, "If you're really writing for people, it'll be documented somewhere for the people to see because that's how we get paid".

Never thought about it like this. He shouldn't be there off the fact we have no idea what the nikka wrote. I feel it should be Jay, Mase,, Biggie, JD, and Nas. Kiss and Cam are up there too tho.

Nas is a myth. :hubie:

He ghostwrote for Will Smith one time and that was a semi joint because Will said he just added sh1t.

He never wrote for Foxy Brown ever, maybe Nas don't feel like writing peoples rhymes like other rappers do. It would be interesting to see his ghostwriting discography.

Yeah he wrote for puff I definitely think one of those joints is 'Journey through the Life' on the Forever LP.

Horse doesn't count, just playing. :russ:

'Just Cruising' too. :ohhh:

the maestro, nice flow
Hot like nitro, cool as ice though
That type of dichotomy, y'all know it's gotta be
Who else could it be but me?
Rub your eyes, behold the Big Williest
Dream supreme beam straight from Philly it's the
Eclectic female attractor, rapper slash actor
Right back at ya
And to the next milenium many come but few are chosen
See me servin' like the U.S. Open
Another type of hustler listed at Blockbuster
Go and ask a movie usher
Who is he? He or she?
SFP, movies CD's, and TV's, but uh-uh
Cause today I take a break from that
As I roll where a tank of gas'll take me at
I used to rock these red Iroc Z's
Now I rock the MB's with the twelves and V's
Today, sun high, up in the sky
From N.Y., la-la to M.I., just cruisin'
Where, baby, I don't care (just cruisin')
As long as you take me there (just cruisin')
Somewhere to clear my mind (just cruisin')
Just cruisin'
Zero to sixty, flossin', 90 degrees
Sony cartridges, ten CD's each
Reach to the beach, Southside leanin'
It ain't often I'm off and I'm feenin' for the
Top down, drop down, got me hot now
Heated up can't stop now
What up cutie wop? Sure sure is cookin' yo
I know I'm spoken for, can't hurt lookin' though
Pop CD's, B-I-G's, then 2Pac's
While cruisin' on the blocks, hittin' the hot spots
Got my celly on O-F-F
Golden arches got my belly goin' oh yes yes
So let's just ease on down ease on down the road
No pager on my hip as I rollin' my whip
'Cause today I'm on the solo creep
Man, why you think I be workin' all week?
I'm just cruisin
Where, baby, I don't care (just cruisin')
As long as you take me there (just cruisin')
Somewhere to clear my mind (just cruisin')
Just cruisin' (I'm just cruisin')
Where, baby, I don't care (just cruisin')
As long as you take me there (just cruisin')
Somewhere to clear my mind (just cruisin')
Just cruisin'
Sun settin' in the S-K-Y
Must say I've had the best day, I'm
Tryin' to find an exit, a place to chill
Not too hectic, so I can spend some time with Will
Let the sun shine to the moonlight clear my mind
Soul search, see what I find
If I'm being the best lover and friend
Am I being the best daddy I can?
I pray I am and I feel good today
Reminisce as I'm cruisin' around the way
Roll tight passed the park where I used to play
Can't think of a better way to spend my day
Uh, still findin' my way, still growin'
Petrol blowin', moon soon showin'
Gots to get goin', losin' the light
And the freaks come out at night, right?
Just cruisin'
Where, baby, I don't care (just cruisin')
As long as you take me there (just cruisin')
Somewhere to clear my mind (just cruisin')
Just cruisin' (I'm just cruisin')
Where, baby, I don't care (I'm just cruisin')
As long as you take me there (just cruisin')
Somewhere to clear my mind (just cruisin')
Just cruisin'

Yes. And he def wrote that Foxy verse and his name used to even be on the booklet of the album. Lol

Are you sure?

Because I heard on the coli when I assumed Nas ghostwrote for Foxy on the Total Remix joint.

I was corrected and said it was AZ, some other dude and then Jay-Z are the ones who ghostwrote for Foxy around that time.

Nas has never written for Foxy. Which I find surprising. I could have sworn this is Nas flow in the track below.

Nas didn’t just write on Gettin Jiggy With It he wrote Just Cruisin, Chasing Forever, and Big Willie Style

He also did some writing for Dr Dre around 2004-07 Detox era (although that might not be such a flex as half the industry wrote for that album at various points)

He also wrote for Diddy (peep Everything I Love from the Press Play album. Diddy talking about spitting Ether and Five Percenter Culture lol)
