Are you sure?

Because I heard on the coli when I assumed Nas ghostwrote for Foxy on the Total Remix joint.

I was corrected and said it was AZ, some other dude and then Jay-Z are the ones who ghostwrote for Foxy around that time.

Nas has never written for Foxy. Which I find surprising. I could have sworn this is Nas flow in the track below.

I have no back up for this statement

But I don’t think nas os a good ghost writer for others

I can’t recall to many that he did for others off the top of my head

Nas didn’t just write on Gettin Jiggy With It he wrote Just Cruisin, Chasing Forever, and Big Willie Style

He also did some writing for Dr Dre around 2004-07 Detox era (although that might not be such a flex as half the industry wrote for that album at various points)

He also wrote for Diddy (peep Everything I Love from the Press Play album. Diddy talking about spitting Ether and Five Percenter Culture lol)
Yeah that album was wild you can actually tell who wrote each song

If you listen to hip-hop enough

Smoothe Da Hustler wrote a lot Foxy's sh*t in '96. Including her Def Jam demo.

It was basically just him and Jay, that year. But Foxy also wrote her own sh*t too. People assume she was always using writers, but she definitely penned a lot of her own joints.

How can JD count as a ghost writer instead of just a songwriter?
So So Def was JD's vehicle to bite and get his music out because he wasn't a performer

Kris Kross - Fake Naughty By Nature
Brat - Fake Snoop
Bow Wow - Fake Snoop/Shyheim/Youngstas/Illegal
Xscape Fake En Vouge/SWV/whatever girl group

JD wrote all of their stuff until later. He used kids and women because they were much less apt to catch beatdowns for biting so flagrantly. It's amazing JD didn't get hands and feet put on him.
