I hate Jon Taffer.

The show is very entertaining, but a little too pretentious. From the voice over guy talking about "Jon Taffer is the one guy who knows all about Bar Science" to all the experts Taffer brings in, they all talk like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread and squeezed milk and can never do no wrong.

I understand these people are really good at what they do, but be a little humble every once in a while.

Dogg no way would i let that portly chef named Duffy with that lil stupid hat come at me sideways...I dont care what kind of fungus was growing off my spatula i aint talking guff from a fakkit like that in a stupid ass hat EVER...

I think I read him say in an interview that a typical (off camera) bar rescue takes 3-4 months.

Which sounds a lot more reasonable than the 4-5 days he's on set with these people.

His science is such bullshyt though, I think it's my favorite part of the show. He went to the Ancient Aliens school of logic and reason

"49% of male patrons drive past a bar if it has yellow in the sign"
