Obama talks about a post-Reagan era... he is incorrect, we're still living in the Reagan paradigm. And he operated in that paradigm.
And he believes in it.

The Dems learned all the wrong lessons from Reagan, while the GOP took up the right lessons (for their cause). Reagan wielded power while Dems won't.

What is the recent obsession with Obama? Move on brehs. There are 250 million adults in America. Do something that will change America for the better. Blaming Obama isn't going to help you go the distance.
Are we joking? He wrote a book and has been everywhere talking about his book. :dahell:

Oh wow he wrote another book. I'm sure he said some things that really changed the game. :duck:

Obama shut his mouth for 3.5 years. This is first book released in over a decade.

He’s doing interviews every day so of course it’s fair game to talk about his recent comments

i dont think dwelling in blame and anger is good, but i do think it is good to use the recent past to learn. a 5 minute conversation with the average voter will reveal just how poor political knowledge is. this lack of knowledge may lead to recurring problems, like another trump or more economic depressions.

Imagine being this mad Trump lost

:laff:
Obama says things like this though:troll:

As I write about in the book, I was pretty clear about the need to challenge China and get tougher with them on trade. I very much wanted to see stronger labor rights. I very much was interested in finding ways in which we could reduce short-term thinking and increase corporate responsibility. So the lessons that had been learned, whatever mistakes had been made from the ’80s and the ’90s on through the aughts, those were ones that I think a lot of Democrats, even on the center left, had embraced. The question remained the issue of politics and could you win back independent voters, even working-class voters, who were suspicious in some cases of the idea that if you raise taxes, somehow that’s gonna be good for me. As opposed to good for somebody else.

When says "how I thought about issues..." who is he talking about?

O-Dawg has a great way with words because he is a great writer-speaker, that he can say things that can excuse his own culpability on shyt. A lot of us brehs fall for it, but he is saying what he is.

Perfect example of this is his use of the phrase "residual unwillingness"

Residual....unwillingness...nikka just can't admit he was personally unwilling so he blames it on inertia :mjlol:

thanks for proving my point
I doubt you’ve proven a fukking point in your life. Be a man and say what you wanna say. I wanted Trump to win? Then why did I vote for Biden? If you don’t wanna participate in the discussion, then don’t. But don’t just come in here and throw your typical shytty, smug bullshyt and skate off.

Yes, blame Obama and Biden for the last 60+ years. It's absurd to relitigate history like this and for what? The idea of some happy hypothetical usa, an isolationist nationalist country built on manufacturing? It's tired.

Who are you even responding to? Nobody has said anything like that here. They’re literally responding to an article talking about his book. Go whine at the dumbasses in TLR who actually deserve it. At least then you won’t look stupid. Time for you to go on ignore like the rest of the retards
