Barack Obama narrates Netflix documentary Our Great National Parks to highlight the beauty of America’s natural wonders. The 44th President of the United States has often spoken of his love of the National Parks and he is narrating Our Great National Parks: A Public Trust which aims to shine a spotlight on their beauty.

‘As I’ve said before,’ Obama says at one point during the series, ‘America’s like a beautiful book, but you can’t just read the first page or two.’ he added that while he loved watching movies on Netflix, ‘this is a great way to get a sense of what some of our country’s most amazing places look like.’

This documentary covers five continents and curates emotion through its creatures that roam through places such as the “Tsavo National Park” in Kenya and the “Gunung Leuser National Park
in Indonesia. The journey continues through the he extensive environment of Chilean Patagonia into the deep waters of Monterey Bay, California with more to follow.

Throughout this series, you’ll feel Obama’s connection to preserving these national parks, the continuous passion while he served in office, protecting more public land & waters than any other US president.

In narrating the five-part series, Obama said he hopes viewers will be inspired by what they see about its importance for us all and a reminder that we all need to protect these beautiful places.
