Y’all looking at this wrong. Somehow the descendants of these slave owners are living an Uber comfortable life. The same story with Ben Affleck. So this idea of waiting till judgement day or whatever. Yeah.

Cumberbatch previously portrayed a slave owner in the Oscar-winning 2013 movie "12 Years a Slave." He also portrayed William Pitt the Younger in the 2006 movie "Amazing Grace" about the battle to abolish slavery in Great Britain.

According to The Daily Mail, Cumberbatch viewed the role in "Amazing Grace" as a "sort of apology" for his family's role in the slave trade.

What does he have to do with the slave trade? Let's call reparations what it really is and that is a lick or a cash grab. Muthaphuckas haven't given a thought as to what might be on the other side of that check.
You do realise that his Benedict Cumberbatch's family got reparations after the transatlantic slave trade was abolished.

The slaves got nothing.

Barbados can ask for it all they want if he says no; are they actually going to do anything? Other than keep asking over and over again and "threatening" him (and others like him) with court :francis: ? Something they've been doing for decades already...

We should look into the biggest individuals that have slaveowning legacy and turn it into a campaign.

If this site weren’t corrupted from the root I would even say we should commission a team of jobless nikkas to look it up right here, but these nikkas don’t do academic work.

If nikkas could put a plantation on Scarlett Johansson or one of them ppl she would be Kente Cloth down trying to beat that publicity.

theres no amount of money they could owe to "fix" Barbados though. On principle I agree, but it really is just a band aid.

Why your cooli ass always up in topics concerning black people. Always with some slick shyt. The purpose is not to "fix" Barbados nor it needs fixing.
Barbados is a well ran and stable country with a gdp per capita of 17k vs India's 2k and ain't no one shytting in the streets. A matter of fact the majority of people on this planet will choose to live in Barbados over india, including indians.

Carry your ass along and go post some tweets.

Tip of the iceberg

I would personally start with the huge banking institution that is Llyods TSB

They created that insurance system that meant it was more lucrative to throw slaves overboard than let them reach their final destination and work them to death.
