I pay $35 and that includes the tip for a cut and beard shape up. I usually get my hair cut once a month though. 2 weeks into my cut I just take my clippers and put the #2 guard on and go over my head. Then I line myself up. The back of my head is always still straight and hitting it with the guard gets it back to where it was after the original cut. Now if I'm going to some event or something then I'll go ahead and hit the barbershop a day or two before. But otherwise, my method works out for me.

My barber uses the scheduling app Booksy. I like that way better than driving up to the barbershop, seeing 2 cars outside, then opening the door and seeing 10 nikkas sitting in there. I'm like how all these nikkas get here? :what: Then I walk over to my barber and ask how many he got. He tells me he got 4 ahead of me. :dwillhuh: It turns out the other barber is running late and these other nikkas are waiting for him. LOL. So now I'm in there waiting with the rest of these fools and I'm watching everything I just went through play out on the next guy's face. The appointment apps have put an end to all that nonsense.
Real shyt

Barber hit me with yesterday’s price ain’t today’s price. Cuzh want almost $80 for a haircut with a clipper shave.

Found another barber in area on booksy who cut for $40 who’s been my go to for the past three months.

Man that's extortion and ransom prices...:laff::dead:

You can still pay $30 for a shop in the hood that don’t take appointments, or just provide good service in general. Other spots are laying $50-$60. Glad I got locs and don’t cut my **** every two weeks. A simple haircut damn near a bill now.

I know a barber who had started up a subscription model for clients.

I think he charged $100 per month, but his clients got unlimited cuts. He'd have people hit him up and just pull up to his crib whenever

Cut and a shave is $25 in Brooklyn (was one of my barbers first customers). I got the same appointment every week so he got enough loyal customers to keep the price where its at and he owns his own shop. Those dudes with high prices are probably renting a chair.
