If all the hospitals are supposed to be so full and overrun how are all these people dying of corona and having 24hr autopsies to even know what they died of, none of us have any of our own sources or medical “experts” to tell what’s actually happening we’re supposed to just believe everything they put out. Now they’re trying to make black folks the face of this

This virus is hitting black people harder due to the prevalence of health issues our population has and this virus's ability to exacerbate them to the extreme. If you're obese, have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, smoke, have asthma, etc, you are at high risk. People should even more careful because of it.

Yes, a choice is being made. Bills still have to be paid. I still have to keep the fridge and pantry stocked. Grocers and utilities aren't trying to hear any excuses.

Food I understand, though here in Florida they're approving everyone I think. As far as bills, none of mine are sweating me. Gave me at least 60 days no problem. I believe a settlement will be presented if this pandemic continue.

With all that said, if you have children, are you willing to leave them unprotected? I'm essential personnel and I told mine I'm not willing to take that chance. And if I bring it home and my children die...bullets will fly before I die.

I'm somewhat obsessed with keeping a fresh fade and even contemplated paying my barber a little extra to make a house call to cut me up but decided against it. I'm a respiratory therapist and have taken care of covid patients and thank God I haven't caught it but I still don't want to put others at risk. Went ahead and just shaved my head and rocking a baldy until this is all over.

I understand barbers are losing money right now but shyt ain't worth the risk!

Yep in the summertime I would get a cut every week. But doing a ball fade was pretty easy following those YouTube videos. And that's with a crappy set of clippers I hadn't touched in years. I ordered a more expensive set now that should be here this week. The more practice I get doing this I don't see myself ever going back to a barbershop. A ton of them are gonna go out of business if this drags on through the Summer.

This pandemic just made me realize how dumb it is was to pay 20-30 bucks for an haircut I could do myself. I feel bad for my barber but if you get a simple bald fade cut it's dumb to pay for something so easy.

Only argument, I could see is that some bosses/managers might be talking slick to black employees about their hair. Even in that case, that's a civil rights violation or something like that so they can just let HR know.

Personally I got a cut the day after the NBA announced they were suspending the rest of the season cause I knew everything else was about to shut down.
