Barbers Changing Up Rates Unappreciation Thread

Barbers are forming co-ops with competing shops and agreeing to up the prices of cuts.

I live in a small town and this ny cat who had a failed shop in the mall cliqued up with a grip of local barbers and had them change the cut prices. shyt was 12-15, now its 20-25 plus.

Had to make a business decision and drop my old rican barber...Just found some brothers in the same plaza as my gym who'll cut my shyt for 15...

This has to be true. As many barber shops as there are throughout the city you would expect lower prices or at least different prices from competing shops just basic capitalism but that's rarely the case. Most of them hold firm at that $20 to $25 mark.

Shop I go to has some really good barbers but

1st time I went - 20 and got a shave tipped 5 bucks extra

2nd time I went had a diff barber - 20 for the cut 15 for the shave.

3rd time had another barber same shop just a cut no shave - 30.

This shyt is GP just off being black it seems.

Remember when haircuts went from 5 to 7 to 10 now usually you can get one from 12 to 20 bucks with the razor line around my way. I know in Richmond though cats be paying like 15 just for the lineup which all but forces you to get the full haircut for 25.

15 dollars west side orlando....jamican he said nikkas rather go to the ricans for 30 dollar cuts and get messed up......but he stay packed but barbers are everywhere in orlando .

In my case its true...I had a coolie barber admit it to me when he left that ny guy's shop in the mall and opened up his own shyt.

The co-op tried to get him to up his prices but he stood fast to the $12 cuts. He left the mall shop on bad terms so he don't give a fukk about spilling the beans
