Now let's take a look at JT Barrett. Freshman year, the offense was incredible. While he had some great players surrounding him, Barrett's arm strength, and touch pass put him on the map.
Now comes the hire of Tim Beck. The offense disappears, the play calling runs the team into the ground, and now one of the top QB's in the nation, has become a very inconsistent, inaccurate ... runner. Martinez and Barrett seem to be sharing a disastrous path, and the only consistency, Tim Beck.

We were averaging 45 points per game heading into the MSU game. Second in the country in scoring. If that isn't good enough, just not sure who you can get to do much better than that. Offense was going to be limited in a swirling windy game. We're just not going to put up a minimum of 40 every game.
