Material items were built to last back in the day.. that's a fact... and no, no car made in the 2000s will last 50 years.... there won't be a market for it...

all you have to do is study classic cars.... there is a reason why 67/69 camaros, 71 chevelles, 68 Novas, 65 Falcons and those of that ilk fetch 30 to 50 grand(depending on how the numbers matching) pre restoration....

you'll never see that market for a 2014 mustang..... or 2015 camaro........etc...
All items are built to last or as long as possible, some of you get easier to fix because of simpler machinary mixed up with built to last.
Cars from today will be around in 50 years, just lieke a few cars from 50 years ago are around today. There will most likely be a collectors market for the cars of the present in the future.

All the cars you listed were once called crap cars and ignored, their value comes from people who are now rich having money to buy them and there only being a limited number surviving in restored or saved condition.
Mitsubishi 3000gts are turning into collector cars, you'll see in the future regular folks cars, like the cars you listed, becoming collectors items.

You'll see it in 2014 and 2015 mustangs when its 2040 or 2045. Again letting nostalgia cloud your evaluation helps no one.

On top of that modern mustangs and cameros are light years better in terms of safety, horsepower, torque, handling, ride quality, amenities, and build quality than the older cars that were sloppily stamped, or even the old hand made brass era cars.

That's a negative.... and you bring up the Mitsu 3000? :pachaha: when here's what I said...

The mitsu 3000 is a product of the 90s....... 20 years prior to my point stressed in that statement.... you need to stay on topic....

i know every generation goes through these things but it is just staggering the ways in which so many industries have been altered/destroyed in the last 20 years.

I honestly don't think a generation has ever gone through what we're going through right now, breh.

The technology boom that we're living in has never happened before. Things are becoming obsolete within the space of 2 decades.

Wait until desktop computers become obsolete. In fact, for all intents and purposes, they pretty much are. in 15 years, nobody will have a desktop :wow:

I always thought B&N was trash but after reading some of yall experiences it might have just been the ones I went to

When I went there it was ALWAYS filled with old cacs that used to hog up all of the seats in the store (all four of them). They never had shyt that I was looking for even on the website. They didn't play any music so the atmosphere was boring as shyt. Because they had barely any seats in the main area you had to go to the cafe/restaurant to read which was always loud so you couldn't immerse yourself in a book like you really wanted to. The cafe in general sucked ass. All of their food was stale. Just the worst experience.

Borders played smooth jazz, had big ass leather couches and seats in every section. Dope music and movie section. Had practically every single book I was looking for and if they didn't they would order it for pickup. The workers were hella cool. They knew about obscure shyt like Behold A Pale Horse when nobody was really on it like that and put me up on Confessions Of An Economic Hitman. And I don't even think I was in high school when I came in looking for that shyt but they didn't even trip. Their cafe was fire. I would cop a large iced coffee and be in that bytch for hours listening to new music and reading. They were way cheaper than B&N too. GOAT bookstore.

I can download any book to my phone and read it, regardless if its a EPUB or not......as long as its a PDF......I have the world largest library for free......why would I limit my access to books by buying an overpriced Kindle?

What websites do you use to download books as a pdf?
I got a Samsung s8

I’m going to miss the environment in a rainy day just sipping coffee and reading magazines and books. I hooked up some great chicks at Barnes and Noble too. :ehh:

not a negative, pony cars were cheap (mustang).
Cameros were cheap they weren't hyper expensive cars.
mopars were relatively cheap.

I bring up 3000gt because 5 years ago car auctions said they weren't worth much, but as people who grew up started looking for them their value started to rise. Same principle in play.

You don't really have a point, other than you think old things are better because they are old. I guess this is why you deflect when I started to discuss why they are valued more.
