Barring injuries, OKC is a lock to win the title.

Act like Patty aint in the cut

Everybody talking about Tony slowing down when Mills is our future PG. Whenever Tony is out or resting they can plug in Patty and not miss a beat especially in the regular season

Mills
Green
Kawhi
LMA
Timmy

Only need Manu for the playoffs, he gives a good 2-3 months of play from April to June and dont turn the ball over any Spurs fan would be happy with that

nikkas are shook out here :lolbron:

No hate but do you really trust mills against cats like Russ, CP3, Curry etc.....

Offensively yeah definitely. He's fearless, will take big shots and he can score. Wouldnt worry too much defensively cause they can find ways to work around that. Just feel like he's due for a breakout year

He played very well in the series against the Clippers and CP3. If Popovich would've played Patty more than Tony that series they probably win. He was obviously the better option especially after Game 5

It's not my team. And on paper they are better and deeper then the thunder. What actually happens is a different story

they were deeper and better on paper in the middle of the playoffs and they still got their ass whooped. moreover if Ibaka or WB never went down so early with the addition of Kanter and the rest of the guys OKC traded for they would've taken that 8th spot.

would an half injured OKC team beat GSW in the first round? heck no, however that says allot what can a small team can do without their super star. we'll see how this season and next season plays out.

Kanters issue is the fact he can't play a lick of defense
Iblocka can only make up for that so much

Waiters, singled, Augustine, morrow damn near the whole bench can't play D. Only perimeter guy worth shyt outside Russ is Roberson and he's a complete black hole on Offense. Adams or ibaka has to be on the floor at all times

Wait, how is a Bulls fan talking down on Memphis? I like the Bulls but the Grizz have been better than them for as long as these two teams have been with their current cores. The only thing Chicago has over Memphis is that they got the #1 seed a few years, but they've never beaten the caliber of opponents that Memphis has in the playoffs.

The Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Clippers are all projected to be contenders while the Grizz are an afterthought yet again. Memphis has beaten them all/played them tough, so I don't understand people completely scoffing at them having a chance to make the Finals if some things are able to swing their way

what is it going to take for yall to realize Memphis cannot win a title as currently constructed???

they are an after thought for a reason. how the hell do you expect them to best GS, San antonio, OKC, and Cleveland if they can't score ????

all those teams can play lock down defense when they want, as well as put up 120 in regulation.

that slow down game DOES NOT WORK in today's NBA. also, z-bo is getting old if none of you have noticedd.

Durant not a khawi, Ariza or Iggy. Plenty of teams have great offenses out west. Until they prove it that defense will be suspect

Only Contenders in the league are the Cavs, Spurs, GS, OKC...If you actually pay attention you'd realize this too. Rest of those teams are just there to be honest. Clippers & Rockets :mjlol::mjlol: Gimme a break

The year before with Russ missing a large chunk of the season, KD had the Thunder with a #1 seed. We all know if you judge them both with nuance, that KD is the better player. However, that doesn't take away how cold Russ is. This team looks legit.
Won't even ask you how :sas1:

LAC, SA, and GS might all have deeper teams, but OKC arguably has the two best players on planet earth and a decent supporting cast. Depth isn't everything. Sometimes it comes down to "Are my superstars better than your superstars?", and I don't think any team in the league can say "yes" to that question when it comes to OKC.

LAC has the deepest team, sure, but arguably the two weakest superstars. I'm not taking CP3 + Blake over KD and Russ, Curry and Klay, Harden and Dwight, and I might not take them over Gasol and Conley either. LAC lacks perimeter shooting and Hack-A-Deandre isn't going away.

GS is the best team on paper, Curry is already an all time great, and Klay hasn't reached his ceiling. They're the biggest threat to OKC IMO. Can Bogut stay healthy? Will Draymond still be hungry with his new contract? Can Curry and Klay guard Westbrook and KD? They have the second or third best coach as well.

Houston is scary good, but can Dwight go back to the Dwight of old or is he officially a deteriorating shell of himself who can still show flashes here and there? Played really good in the playoffs last year, but can he stay healthy? How will Harden and Lawson mesh? Terrence Jones needs to stay healthy as well.

People act like the Spurs are a lock, but Tony Parker was terrible last year and Manu is even older now. Their perimeter is a looking a little weak. You can put Kawaii on KD and slow him down, but I don't know who is guarding Westbrook on that team. They have the advantage of having the GOAT coach, which is huge. Obviously, their front court is untouchable outside of maybe Memphis giving them a run.

Until Memphis gets a legitimately scary wing to pair with Conley in the backcourt, I can't take them serious no matter how great Gasol and Randolph are.

OKC has the best duo since Shaq + Kobe, both of which had to sit at home and watch the teams above feast in the playoffs. This is some intangibles talk, but I don't think Kevin Durant likes the fact that people are skipping over him and going right from Lebron to Curry and Anthony Davis. The keys to the mansion once Lebron got older were supposed to be his, and at 27, I don't think him being the best player in the world is out of the question when he was that just last year. Westbrook is Westbrook, the best guard in the league other than maybe Curry. I believe both guys being healthy will allow Serge to get back on focusing on defense rather than tryna be cute with the stretch 4 behavior(though being able to hit the 3 is a nice weapon). People clown Kanter on defense but he's legit on offense and I think they can cover his weaknesses.

IMO it goes OKC > GS > SA > HOU > LAC > MEM in the west. It's a shame Tyreke and Holiday are hurt or I'd say NO is probably the 7th best team. They might still make it, and I got Utah rounding out the 8 playoff spots, but don't be surprised if Rondo + Gay + Cousins is a surprising threesome. Pause.
Miami in 2011 had the 2 best players in the NBA and they lost to a team with 1 all star. OKC duo is not better than Lebron and D Wade in 2011. D Wade was fully healthy that year and he played like Bron's equal efficiency wise. They both shot 52% from the field. Westbrook is still an inefficient chucker. He's not better than 2011 Wade
