They were missing the 2nd best player in the world...

Team is incredibly top heavy. All they had for most of the year was Westbrook and Ibaka.

Once they got Kanter, they almost cracked the playoffs in the West. That should tell you how good they were without Durant.

Yet there are some that claim Westbrook is on KD's level.

If the roles were reversed and it was Westbrook who missed significant time due to injury, OKC would have made the playoffs.

Frankly, I'm not seeing what is in this team that have people proclaiming them as Champs before a ball has even been tipped-off.

It really helps to have 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA on your team though. Russ and KD look so focused and mature as teammates, you can't count them out of anything. That being said, they are about even with GSW and SA in my opinion, a series between those teams could go either way in my opinion. The clippers and their roster is overrated to me but partially because I don't think all of their playstyles mesh as well as people think they will. I also don't think the Clippers bench is ready for prime time
