I'm going to go ahead and leave this thread now.

You clearly haven't watched the Jazz or the thunder last year.

When Kanter was on the court the Jazz allowed 108.0 points per 100 possessions compared to only 94.7 points post All-Star break with Gobert on the floor – a difference of 13.3 points.
OKC averaged 109.6 points per 100 possessions with Kanter on the court.

That said, I do like OKC to win the title if everyone stays healthy and Kanter to can anchor the 2nd unit. His defense is really problematic.

:mjpls: His defense is as about as effective as Kendrick Suckins. Only difference is he can actually provided post offense.

2nd best team in the league to me...

But horrible matchup against SA...

Kanter is going to be food against Duncan, LMA, West, and Diaw... Whatever points he gets he is going to give up easily...

And if he becomes to much of a sieve and you have to take him off the floor then you lose your only low post threat and now Swag Antonio big men are just roaming the weakside ever defensive position because they sure as fukk are not going to be worried about locking down the Nick Collison's and Steven Adam's of the world...

Also Ibaka has to stay glued to LMA...he is one of the best midrange shooters in the league, which is going to nullify his biggest talent as a weakside defender...

With Pop juggling lineups and resting people in the regular season I could see OKC winning every game...but in a 4 game series that shyt is going to get ugly in the paint for OKC real quick...

Green and Leonard can at least make sabo and durant work on the perimeter...going to be a layup line for SA with ever lineup that has LMA out htere...

I can see OKC beating GS and Clippers though...

Actually why are the Clippers even in this discussion? They got exactly three people on the team who can make a consistent jumpshot

Yet there are some that claim Westbrook is on KD's level. :sas2:

If the roles were reversed and it was Westbrook who missed significant time due to injury, OKC would have made the playoffs.

Frankly, I'm not seeing what is in this team that have people proclaiming them as Champs before a ball has even been tipped-off.

The year before with Russ missing a large chunk of the season, KD had the Thunder with a #1 seed. We all know if you judge them both with nuance, that KD is the better player. However, that doesn't take away how cold Russ is. This team looks legit.
