jon miller on the call

that sound of the bat is majestic :banderas:

Anytime I hear that It feels like spring/summer instantly. Great sound :salute:

@mamba Jr was my favorite player, dude did it all, avg, hr, fielding. His fielding is what made his batting suffer from all those injuries. Still one of the best swings in baseball history. Half the size of sammy, bonds and mac and could drop bombs on pitchers

i remember catching that live. barry and manny were the goats at long distance upper deck homers.
Can't leave Big Mac out but those two definitely belong on that list. Went to the Fridays at the Diamondbacks stadium and there's a sign there pointing to where he once hit a homer. If he could've stayed healthy man. Looking at how great a player bonds was it bothers me that he juiced not because it helped him hit 762, but because as a result everything from before that gets overlooked. Nobody thinks about his run with the Pirates.

yea barry woulda been a hall of famer without the juice, which makes his decision to get on it all the more mind boggling to me.

He wanted to pass 755 I guess. I mean you don't go from 25-35 homers in a year to 45+ over year while adding 50 pounds of muscle (dude from from the Kevin durant physique to the LeBron physique :mjlol:) and his hat size doubled. Not in your mid 30's. The human body doesn't produce enough testosterone for that to happen naturally.
