Barry said he was willing to play on a minimum contract as a DH after SF.
In New York or Los Angeles probably.
I don't believe for a second he'd have taken a minimum contract to play in Kansas City or Washington back in 2008.

But ok.

We should also remember he was indicted for perjury in the winter of 2007. So you know...being investigated by the federal government tends to make it hard to find a job. I wouldn't call that blackballing or collusion.

What happened to Tim Raines was collusion.

you dont think 3 Cy Youngs, an MVP, a 3 ERA, and nearly 2500 Ks, almost 200 wins doesnt get him in the HOF? :deandre:

Ehhh fair enough, if Clemens didn't juice and declined naturally he would have been HOF-worthy.

Bonds, Manny, Clemens, IRod and ARod were HOF quality players before the juice.

Palmeiro is on the fence since he was more or less a DH and who knows how much the juice helped him in his 30s.

Bagwell wasn't.
Sosa wasn't.
Giambi and McGwire were vastly improved because of it.

I would add that Schilling was on the juice. And his loud denials don't fool me one bit.

yea

dude was a lock to make the HOF. McGwire was juicing since the 80s, which is why I say eff him. But im one of those that dont like HR hitters who did nothing else.

he sketchy because the Rangers were a team of juicers in the 90s. I dont trust anything that comes out of that team.

Its hilarious how people got on Bagwell for PEDs after he magically lost 25 lbs over an offseason yet ignore that the same thing happened to Pudge.
