this would’ve been a perfectly beautiful ending if it ended on the fade to black after barry said “oh wow” and got shot…I didn’t need closure for sally and her son and felt that undercut an otherwise perfect ending…GREAT episode tho…glad I watched it first

Succession’s finale? Loved it. This? Eh. I agree with :ld: who thought it should’ve ended last season. Third season was the peak of the show to me while this one felt like an extended epilogue.

If I had to bet money today, between Succession and Barry, I would have bet that a certain character in Succession would lose because that's what they've always done, and it's what happened. I would have bet my life that Barry would have died. Both cliche endings are what got. :unimpressed:

Bill Hader shadowed Vince Gilligan in the writer's room for Better Call Saul. So it makes sense that he gave us the ending to Breaking Bad, with the protagonist going to save a loved one, getting killed and his idiot wife and kid get to live. :francis:

For a self reflexive show, that epilogue with John watching his father's life story in "The Mask Collector" :skip: was perfect.

At least PFC Barry Berkman was laid to rest with full honors. :wow:

Oh Wow!

Not too surprising that Barry died. And Gene shot him, just when it sounded like Barry was about to do the right thing :skip: . I did think that Gene loved Janice, now he is in jail for life and blamed for her murder while Barry is buried with honors :wow:

At least Hank went out next to Cristobal and the Raven did the right thing at the end.

Hader really is a great director, can't wait to see what he does movie wise in the future.
