Also Baseball has done a piss poor job of marketing their stars especially African American stars. The last I can remember getting a huge push on the level of the athletes you named was Griffey and that was more so because of Nike, not MLB.

Oh yeah if MLB was smart, they'd throw some money at Nike to market Trout/Harper(when his UA deal ends)/McCutchen/Kemp. Also, put your highlights on YouTube, as opposed to just their site.

why must you make things so difficult for him? :troll:

u really think with the state of the US over the past 6yrs
*the worst economy since the great depression
*the housing market being in shambles
*unemployment being so damn high
*etc...etc...
all sectors of entertainment has taken a major hit

so throw in all time low ratings, lack of interest & the tons of talk/stories bout it dying or falling behind

IMO anybody believing in they had 7billion in revenue -is being naive :manny:

being a professional baseball player has to be the goat job

even when the game gets physically demanding its like the equivalent to a quick 30 second sprint :russ:

in the most intense, close game of baseball dudes are still just standing around the field :dead:

It's not just one game, but an accumulation of games. It's a daily grind; you have to be consistent day in and day out.

the ignorance is you not understanding my post. The NFL also has grown financially in this time period despite ratings decline, and even attendance decline. You will some how make a case for the NFL's numbers being accurate, while also dismissing MLB's numbers. Its ignorance. But I do await your explanation.
