Ya'll sold the house to get a ring. Got to do something in the next couple of years

Look at the cubs , 2 in the top 5 I never thought I would see the day.
That's the sad thing. All the prospects they traded away didn't amount to shyt either. Dombrowski has been awful since he got to Detroit in terms of building up the farm club. Verlander is the only stud he drafted and developed.

Man and Verlander was injured so much recently. Do you think you have the bats to go this year outside of Miguel?

that miggy contract is fukking awful. shyt dont even kick in til 2016 season, and miggy is coming off a season where his ops dipped 200 points and had surgery. going to be comical in like 2 years, when theres 9 years left on that deal and hes completely washed up

It's gonna be dicey. Miggy and Victor might both start the season on the DL. The only other big time bats are Cespedes (free agent year, so I expect him to be pretty good) and JD Martinez (obviously he was great last year, but that came out of nowhere).

Couple that with the starting rotation being considerably worse and absolutely no significant additions to the bullpen, I think they're gonna miss the playoffs. They are fukked for the foreseeable future too. Dombrowski weighed that team down with a bunch of MASSIVE contracts and the worst farm system in baseball. The next GM is gonna have a catastrophe on his hands.

Damn seems like the White Sox aint all that though so maybe an outside chance. That pitching looks bad though

The pitching looks extremely suspect. Price is gonna be a rock, but after that it's all question marks. I doubt Verlander is as bad as he was last season, but it'd be foolish to expect anymore 2.50 ERA/240K seasons again. Sanchez can never stay healthy for a full season. I think Greene will be pretty solid, but Alfredo Simon as the 5th starter is gonna be a train wreck.

That means a lot of bullpen innings and we know that won't end well.

It was all good just a year ago, before the insane Fister trade. :mjcry:

I anticipate tigers trading price to the cubs around july 28th for a couple 2nd tier prospects. They'll be 9-10 games out of 1st by then and the cubs need to get price here to experience the wrigley environment and a cubs team in contention so he'll know what he's getting into for the next 6 years :banderas:

Deep down you know it's true. We'll give you vogelbach, trout and villaneava for price.Think the tigers turning that down when you said their farm is suspect? :usure:
So a bunch of trash for Price? Sounds like something Dom would do. Remember the "haul" he got for Fister?

Man I bet they expected price to carry the weight of that. Your GM don't know he needs more then one or two good pitcher. Ouch I guess Miggy has to hit at least 40 this year .
