For one thing, Harper isn't baseball's biggest star.
And for another, most players don't have a chance to watch baseball anyway.

Between playing. Practicing. Studying tape. Scouting and traveling, you're busy as it is.

The last thing you wanna do is watch more baseball when you have some time with family and friends.

This is true for just about every sport there is.
When you leave work, do you stay thinking about your job?

Didn't think so.

Bryce is a fukking character lol. Manfred probably picked up that phone so quickly to tell him to at least make up a damn lie.

shyt though, it looks like the only ones that watch it are Griffey and AJ and they even had an issue with how baseball is presented on television. That's a concern I think everyone has except old ass white men with antiquated mindsets. They then pass that bullshyt down to younger generations and this is why baseball is where it's at. Also, I like the shot Price took at broadcasters considering he pulled up on Dennis Eckersley last week.

I loved playing baseball as a kid, and I still play softball in a church league. I struggle to watch a game as an adult now. The presentation of the game is horrible. The commentators and play by play make the game sound so boring and drab.

I don't know specifically what caused you to stop watching baseball, but if it was a lack of black star power,

Andrew McCutchen just hit .411/.505/.689 last month and has shut up people who said he was effectively finished as a player.
