I loved playing it growing up. I've tuned in to some random games and the College World Series these past couple of weeks. The Marlins make it hard for me to get engaged. Haven't made the playoffs since 03. :stopitslime:

This is a non story. Tons of players who play pro sports aren't fans of the sport they play its what they do for a living

Didn't Kobe say something similar in a interview last year?

I heard of retired NFL players don't watch football ethier, when you eat, shut, breathe a sport you're not wanna watch it in your free time:manny:
Im pretty sure Russy said the same thing too.

A lot of these athletes do not watch the sport. They just play it at a high level.

Complete nonstory.

But a few of you have brought up good points regarding how the game is presented on TV. That needs to change because it is bad.

When the As had their resurgence out of no where about 5 yrs ago and had a stretch where they won the division like 3 yrs straight, was some of the funnest ive had watchin my favorite team. Even tho we didnt do much in the playoffs those years (fukk detroit and verlander always).

That year where they were never first in the division until the last game of the season and they knocked off the rangers after being 5 games behind with like 10 games left was golden. Squad aint have one superstar but they made noise.

Ravens. Lakers. Canon. Fuji.
I played baseball as a youngster. For many years I was part of the "I can play it, go to the game (I love getting blazed and going to Camden Yards) but I can't bare to watch it on tv" club.....until fantasy baseball entered my life. With more of a vested interest now, I can't stop watching it. It's weird.
