I don't understand why dudes get offended to the point of it interfering with the game. If somebody showboats, get them out next time and do some showboating of your own. All in good fun.

Getting mad at a player for getting angry at himself for making an out is stupid as hell though. You see tons of hitters get mad at themselves when they just miss a pitch. Slamming their bat or saying something to themselves right after not quite hitting it right = being more outspoken and loud about your own frustration.

Nope - the point seems to be that...some...players are surprised when they throw at a players' head
and get ran up on on the mound. Because, as they understand it, the other player deserves to get
thrown at because he (or his teammate) did something disrespectful. They don't understand that
they may be too sensitive as to what "disrespect" is.

Bud Norris can eat a fat dikk. That old, curmudgeon style of baseball is the reason why the fan base is and the reason why youngins don't want no parts of it.

As you may know, here in KC we were at the point where we were having a brawl every week. lol
