Timbaland and Neptunes are probably the most overrated producers, imo.

If anything, DJ Quik is underrated. If you're an old head or a young person such as myself who loves listening to a lot of Hip-Hop from the 90s, DJ Quik would be viewed as one of the best despite being relatively unknown by many people, surprisingly.

Neptunes and Timbaland are overrated, I noticed a lot of producers who rose to fame in the 00s get overrated a lot by casuals. I'm not saying they're bad producers but they're nowhere near the top unless you're someone who listens to chart hits and mainstream pop records.

Many other Hip-Hop producers are better than them despite not being big-time chart toppers, etc.
