the key is actually having good people/social skills and learning how to compromise
know your neighbors, know people on your block, chat it up with them for a bit
while I'm not saying don't prepare in case/if/when infrastructure fails
but don't buy into this notion that it's gonna turn into Mad Max or The Road just cause the lights are gonna go out
a good example, look at what happen when Hurricane's Sandy and the one that hit Houston very recently and you'll notice how the whole "every man for himself!!!!" bullshyt doesn't usually fly.
shyt Puerto Rico has worse crime than the mainland, and that didn't turn exactly into the purge or whatever bullshyt when SHTF there

I was in N.O. immediately after Katrina..there's a lot of death and confusion that was swept under the rug there. Ask Gusman how many people died in that jail..outside the football stadium and other places that were secured by the Red Cross and the National Guard, there was A LOT of shyt popping off..a lot of killing.

A lot of our people nowadays have NO interest in how to live off the land. If basic utilities fail, along with law and order and folks start getting restless when they don't start see help coming..I'm NOT gonna be teaching shyt. Already told my girl how we rolling.. I'm coming out with the HK416 at the ready and manuevering all of us out to Western NC towards the mountains.
