Willis Reed- 6'10 center that played for Grambling State University in Louisiana and played in the NBA from 1964-1974. he has won 2 NBA championships with his team, New York Knicks. he won in 1970 and 1973. he is also a 2X NBA finals MVP, 7X NBA All-Star, NBA MVP, All-Star game MVP, was a NBA rookie of the year in 1965 and has jersey number(19) retired by the Knicks.

Earl Monroe- 6'3 guard that played for Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina and played in the NBA from 1967-1980. he has won a NBA championship with his team, New York Knicks. he won the championship in 1973. he played for the Baltimore Bullets/Washington Wizards and New York Knicks. he is also a 4x NBA All-Star, NBA rookie of the year in 1968, has his jersey number(15) and (10) retired by the Washington Wizards and New York Knicks.

Darrell Armstrong- 6'0 guard that played for Fayetteville State University in North Carolina and played in the NBA from 1995-2008. he played for the Orlando Magic along side with Shaq and Penny Hardaway, played for teams such as the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, and the New Jersey Nets. he was given the NBA most improved player award and the NBA sixth man of the year award in 1999. he is now an assistant coach to the Dallas Mavericks.

Anthony Mason(R.I.P.)- 6'7 forward that played for Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN and played in the NBA from 1989-2003 with a few stints in other basketball leagues. he is notably known for playing for the New York Knicks along side John Starks, Patrick Ewing, and Derek Harper. he has played for the New Jersey Nets, Denver Nuggets, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks, he has won NBA All-Star in 2001 and NBA sixth man of the year in 1995.

Ben Wallace- 6'9 center that played for Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA and played in the NBA from 1996-2012. he has played for the Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers. he has won a NBA championship with his team, Detroit Pistons in 2004. he is a 4x NBA All-Star, 4x NBA defensive player of the year, NBA blocks leader in 2002, and a 2x NBA rebounding leader.

Also David Wesley and his boy David Lynch (I think that was his name) who died in a car accident both went to HBCUs. Remember seeing them on that Black Magic documentary a few years back.
