David Stern :pacspit:

Mitch had it setup perfectly. Had Dwight and CP3 lined up to get Kobe win 6-7 rings then ride out in to the sunset. But nooooo...vetoed the trade and put the team on a 34 year old Kobe's back and essentially ends his career. Did irreparable damage to the Lakers franchise and yet Bron can team up with two HoF players and KD can join 3 All-Stars and possible HoF players themselves.

I'm sick. Ain't been the same since Jerry stepped down. :sadcam:

Hold me.

:mjcry:

OT: Warriors should be the nastiest team in the modern era bar none. Excited to watch. Hopefully Mitch grabs Russ from OKC and brings him back home. :blessed:

I still think the "veto" had everything to do with NO. That trade would have cost them Anthony Davis and would have made the team unsellable.

Kobe was already :flabbynsick, Chris Paul would have been a weird fit with him, and Dwight isn't exactly loved by Laker fans.
The possibilities man...the possibilities! :to:

The league only backed off because Cuban and Gilbert complained
The "veto" happened before the trade window even opened. I don't know why the league allowed the rumors to get out that it was a done deal but I don't think that trade was going to be allowed regardless. It really made no sense that the Hornets GM was still employed at the time.
