I wish he would come back full time if hes gonna comeback.

He could help Orton/Administration get some heat and it could be like Evolution planned all this all along or somethin :yeshrug:

Him coming back just to wrestle one match at Mania doesnt really interest me all that much. I actually think all the matches where you just bring a guy in for 1 week to sell ppvs is a bad idea tbh. unless its HBK or something cus hes been still around. id rather see them put faith in the guys they have in storylines, and try to give them a mania moment and get them over (make new stars rather than recycle all your old shyt).

Basically. Dude has been the epitome of unremarkable star like Orton for most of his career. He says some shyt about "fat chicks" and TSC goes :noah: :gladbron: :ohlawd:

Dave doesn't need WWE....If he plays it right he could have the second most successful movie career for a former WWE wrestler.

WWE doesnt need Dave either IMO, he isnt the Rock. I cant name you one movie hes been in and Im sure people who dont watch wrestling have no idea the movies hes been in.

I'd rather see the company try to build a guy who is committed to the company than try to get a little better draw by putting Batista in a match at Mania for 1 week. I cant see Batista putting someone over and really helping anyones career.

Dave Batista has a major role in a MARVEL movie next year. As soon as it was announced that he go the role people were saying WWE is gonna try and bring him back to get some of that crossover attention.

The company is gonna do what its gonna do, im just saying i dont really agree with bringing Batista back in that fashion, IMO hes not THAT big of a draw that you should bring him in instead of building other guys.

Y'all won't let that three month run go will you? :pachaha: When he first turned on Rey for a good while he was absolutely heatless and had the direction of a Wade Barrett. He was just dressing in smedium Polos and doing bad Kanye impersonations. It was only because he feuded with Cena that his heel run was saved.

I've seen you, little LastEmp, and a few others throw this around. It's true that a lot of people started liking him after his heel turn (that's heel turn period, not just Cena feud. Him turning on Rey was recognized as gully when it happened.), but they were actually wrong to not like him in the first place.

As Silkk reminded us, Batista was "the man" at one point, bigger than Cena for most of 05. Drew 2 very big buyrates and was as or more over than everyone for most of 05. He was still very over as a face after that too.

Wrestling is supposed to be a league of larger than life fighters. That's what the "universe" is supposed to be. Batista was a unique character who was believable in how he played that character. He was believable in his promos and didn't do too much, that Cena promo is a great example. A good promo isn't only defined by catch phrases, insider comments, . "I'm gonna kick your ass", if the person seems like they believe it 100%, is better than dudes doing unconvincing Flair or Jericho impressions.

In the ring he was ok. He's stiff (as far as not looking real fluid nh), but that played into his character and how he wrestled.

A Batista/Punk fued would be too swagged out for us brehs :wow:

He would be the perfect opponent as a heel for Bryan or Punk as faces. Talk about them being small, looking like bums, how he's a big star, how CM Punk doesn't lift, etc.
