I went to the house show they had in Anahiem before Mania. The show was better than that weeks Raw.

Even got to see Finn Balor and Sasha Banks (semi)debut.

I think wrestlers prefer house shows cause it gives them free reign with their characters and their matches, and there are less time contraints. You can see the difference.

Brock wrote about a house match he had with Rock back in 2003 when Rock came back as a heel. the match was in Miami, and he at 1st the crowd was on Brock's side, but eventually choose Rock. and Rock won the match

I didn't know that this match was well known but yeah it was in Miami around that time so I guess it musta been one and the same

Like its extra incentive to come out for the shows. Even the dudes who are too old to go (Hogan, Flair) come out occasionally for house shows in non wrestling capacity. Make a "surprise appearance" for a run in. Its like OG bands or rappers touring. Maybe do meet and greets and mini-cons during the day, make it like an indy show
I know people say the schedule would be brutal but really its weekend shows every week.
