Former WWE Superstar Batista has apparently turned down a recent offer from WWE to appear in a non-wrestling role at this year's WrestleMania 32 event in April.
Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that while backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Orlando on Sunday, Batista met with Vince McMahon, who offered the former WWE Champion a "guest appearance" gig at WrestleMania 32.
Batista, who reportedly turned down the offer, has been outspoken about the WWE creative process since his most recent run with the company was changed as it went along due to the growing popularity of Daniel Bryan and "The Yes! Movement."
Batista told HeyUGuys in an interview last April that he is open to wrestling for WWE one day, but only at live events, since WWE's scripts "aren't that great."
