This game is great and we wanted to give it a 9 but we just wished there was more Killer Croc in certain segments to intensify the intensity of the tension in the more tense parts of the game, so we deducted a point.

I'm not sure how you expect them to review a product. is he supposed to come from the perspective of someone that never played a Batman Arkham game?

Polygon gave The Last of us a 7.8 because they didnt like how the game was making them feel despite how epic it was.
naw, but I expect them to review the product for itself...tell me about what's in the game, compare it to the other games, and leave it at that...the min they start talking about I wish or I wanted such and such in/out the game, that's when you not reviewing the product for itself anymore...to be specific about this: adam said this was the best game in the series, but yet he was still disappointed cause of what the game lacked according to him...what he thinks should be in the game shouldn't matter, just base your review off what's in the game...
you see this all the time, especially in music...when people review a cd of an artist, they always talk about what they wanted to hear in terms of beats/rhymes, their expectations, instead of talking about the actual cd itself..
So why are you in the thread?
I mean I respect your opinion but what use is for people trying to find out information about the game?

combat is a little harder in this one 
you realize reviews are all biased right. Everything he said was wrong with this game was wrong with GTAV only much worst because it left out stuff a lot of othe other GTA's had the gameplay was the same as every other sandbox ever created but he gave that perfect score

The entire game is slower, I guess thats the difference between Rocksteady, arkham city is a lot smoother

as for Croc, toss batarangs at him while he is holding the gas tanks.
after you get a combo off and knock him down get out of there cause he is gonna slam on the ground and fukk shyt up.

I'm stuck on the exact same act. These dudes slow ass kicks is literally canceling my attack no matter what and its pissing me off. I'm wondering if some of Ubisoft montreal ppl shared the AC combat mechanics with WB Montreal. You can't freeflow between attack, counter, attack like previous games. Its all about counter and if you attack you are basically open to getting hit no matter what

i understand what i'm supposed to do the tricky part is the maneuvering around the henchmen. i'm using all the gadgets, pressing the counter when i'm supposed to, but i got killer croc changing directing in mid air when i'm dodging and failed counters when i'm looking directly at the henchmen.
