Batman Begins takes the cake when compared to Rises but lets not dismiss DKR the best of the 3 :myman:
Ledger's performance as the joker carried that movie to GOAT status :ohlawd:

Dark Knight Rises tried to do too much. The premise alone still boggles my mind. If there is a world where a Batman can exist, let alone a Gotham City, there's no reason Bruce Wayne would stop being Batman for 8 years let alone do some stupid shyt like take the fall for Harvey Dent and compromise "The Mission".

Nothing is, nor has anything ever been more important than "The Mission". So in that sense, Nolan failed.

All things considered though, it is still the greatest superhero trilogy ever and up there in trilogies in general considering the third movie in a trilogy is usually pretty sub par.

simply too much, too many characters

they should of kept it simple like the dark knight and had bane and batman tee off on each other, that would of been goat status

they didnt need thalia or catwoman, they just muddled the whole story

I don't remember any major plotholes that would ruin the movie...some people just like to overthink things and ruin the movie for themself....just about every plothole that I remember people bringing up was stuff that you could make a logical explanation for,or just say "he's Batman" and it still makes sense...the ability for fans to be consistent with what's believable and not believable is probaly the problem.

You can't believe Bruce can heal his back that fast by the doctor, but you can believe the prison doctors was able to save Banes life in a damn prison in the ground and he's able to stay alive with some mask contraption that injects pain killers:comeon:the doc is just that good:russ:...if people gon just randomly pick what they can and can't believe its gon be a problem...I don't remember any deal breakers in the movie bruh:manny:

The reason why the "he's batman" logic doesn't work is because Nolan never relied on the logic before. Like I said, just from a writing standpoint, he created the universe to work a certain way and to have certain rules...as a writer or filmmaker, you can't throw the rules out just because you need your story to work. and as far as Bruce's detecting skills, whether you read comics or not or watch tv shows or not, it's obvious just from batman begins and the dark knight that dude is no slouch when it comes to figuring stuff out, so how he let something like Talia under his nose for so long is crazy

Catwoman was alright, the film would have been better without both Talia and Blake, those 2 just didn't need to be in the movie, especially Talia.

Talia being in the movie, at least the way she was, undercut Bane, who I felt was the illest part of the whole flick. John Blake was superfluous. Not needed at all but of course, Nolan had to get his "twist" ending in there

i kinda agree but if they wanted wayne to leave the mantle to somebody robin had to be in it. i would of just let batman be batman and not go away

no need for talia or catwoman

he was the most interesting part of the movie and when he was undercut the story went to shyt

it was like killing off megatron to have starscream lead the second half of the movie type of shyt

See I don't think that's some huge plot hole...Talia and Bane is league of shadows just like he is:heh:...them being able to infiltrate Wayne enterprises, find out his identity, and her being able to slip under his nose ain't some off the wall shyt to me...they have all the attributes he has and maybe more which is what made Bane so dope,he wuznt just a musclebound goon like I expected.

More importantly as I mentioned the last post, maybe Batman who is focused and motivated they don't get the drop on em and he covers his tracks better....just like Cat Woman maybe is not able to rob him...her robbing him sumwhat gives him a small spark...but he's still rusty:manny:

That's the whole point of the movie is that he's rusty, and that's why he gets beat....and he has to rise out of the pit stronger than he was to win:ohlawd:...by the time he was refocused it was too damn late to do a background search on her:heh:

I do agree with that,Robin wuz cool though...but Talia did undercut Bane for no reason really...and u kinda saw the "twist" comin that she was a villan when she randomly came over to fuk I was suspicious:mjpls:..they built up no chemistry and suddenly u poppin up and getting the d? This ain't james bond so u knew sumthin wuz up.

The story being Bane climbing outta the pit woulda been just as powerful without the twist that it was her.

Its Talia Not "Thalia"

The league of shadows = the illuminati

Bruce Fell down a hole like alice in wonderland and wound up in their grip, he had to die to get out

I feel you to a point but even as rusty as he was, he still had the idea to put a tracking device on his moms pearls. And do research on bane and catwoman. I just feel like he acted out of character in that moment just for the sake of the story :manny:
