Batman has a severe losing record against Deathstroke and Deathstroke is about as equal to Captain America as you can get.


when you use the Cap = Deathstroke as a guide, you can quickly start to see how outmatch Batman is against Wolverine in a straight up fight

Well even in that case, I'd say most of the picks are pretty good.


Like, you aren't really gonna "out-crazy" or "out-chaos" The Joker, so you need to combat him on a different level. Batman does it because he is so well prepared, trained and resourceful so he is a Yin to Joker's Yang. Ra's is probably the closest villain to Bruce Wayne's level of mentality and resourcefulness and he is willing to kill just like Joker.

Physically Joker is not a huge threat, but he can be real tricky, clever and vicious. I think of him like a crafty BJJ fighter. He's not gonna have any stand up or or striking to really huge you, but you get to close and he'll clench up and stab you.

forget to mention

if he were to come face to face with carnage, do you think the suit would rather bond to him than kassidy? I just want to see an all out gorefest between two known violent killers in the comic book verse

Based purely on physical feats, he's not. :smugcena:

However, Cap and Deathstroke are the closest analogues for each other as DC and Marvel get. Their origins are damn near identical and their track records speak for themselves.


But its more about the idea of Batman being unbeatable is completely false. I've read his comics for years, he takes tons of Ls, just like my dude Logan. The thing is, he always comes back from his Ls and gets a W later. But people always forget about the initial L.
