Battle Bowl/Lethal Lottery was underrated.

I'm watching the Battlebowl PPV on the Network. This idea was mad underrated. Having a random draw with tag-teams and the winners advances to a battle royal at the end of the night. They should just revamp the Andre the Giant Battle Royal to Battlebowl at Wrestlemania.

:dead: @ Vader and Cactus Jack getting drawn together as a team during their feud. Vader and Stevie Ray come out and put the beats to Cactus Jack before the match. Harley Race starts yelling at Vader telling him he needs to tag with Cactus to go to the battle royal. Mere minutes later, Vader is putting the beats to Stevie Ray & is making tags with Cactus Jack and pulling off double team moves.

Then there was the Shockmaster/Paul Orndorff vs. Ricky Steamboat & Lord Steven Regal.

Tony: "The interesting story here, well there's many of them. Paul Orndorff was the Television Champion. Steamboat beat him. Steamboat was the Television Champion, and Lord Steven Regal beat him."
Jesse: "And Shockmaster fell through a wall." :dead:

So much fukkery :ohlawd:

We need this brought back. It'll be a venue for the lower card guys to work with the upper card.

I used to love the concept. Never understood why so many shyt on it. I liked seeing random wrestlers team up and be in a match together that you would never see happen anywhere else. Plus the randomness could be a great way to kick off some new feuds or form new alliances.

Eh... it'd be a dope PPV, long as they didn't do that two-ring shyt. That's an idea that can stay where it's at.

And since it seems they're gonna stop relyin' strictly on PPV buys, they could take a chance with it. The problem with PPVs like this (and KOTR as well) is that the buyrates would always be low because the viewers had no idea WTF they were getting match-wise.

No. No it wasn't.

You got a whole empty ring sitting next to the ring for the duration of the whole event.

Then the battle royal, you get thrown out, walk over to the other one and get to try again.

It was a Russo match before Russo was even making matches.

Yeah, if WWE ever brings over Battlebowl or War Games, I think they will put a twist on it and stay away from the two ring stuff.

Starrcade 91 was the only time they used two rings. They had one ring for Starrcade 92 and the Battlebowl PPV. They realized the two ring idea wasn't adding anything.

the 2-rings was dope to me.

besides, i only recall them using 2-rings on the 1st joint. prolly cuz that was the one with like 80 participants, and about 40 in the battle royal.

When the bookers began placing every wrestler with their rival in these "random" tag team picks, things went sideways. It was real dumb that every single team was either a real tag team that got lucky, or were enemies.
