P destroyed Nas. NS sounds rushed and threatened like he was under pressure to match the realness.

I kinda agree with this actually , Nas seemed a bit hesitant in his speech and :whew:

You tell in the beginning he was tryin to get too manny words in there and his flow was a bit off beat and then eventually slowed down towards the end. Still a great verse but doesnt match the perfection of Pee's verse:blessed:

no it was hesitancy, it was the exact opposite: Nas was rapPin with supreme URGENCY. If u listen 2 his introductory bars dude was in a hurry to get things off his chest that had been weighing heavily on him for some time. It was exactly what the joint needed cause while content-speaking P had an almost perfect verse his delivery was maaaadly monotonic to the point that u almost 4got what he said in his previous bars whilst listening to his verse. The opposite in delivery highlighted both rapPers brilliantly.

Nas verse stands out and are considerably more memorably. Try it: listen to the song again. Which bars do you remember most?

This track was originally a prodigy solo joint, u can tell by his verse it wasnt supposed to have a feature. U can also tell the verse was written in like 1997/98 by the his flow and delivery. Nas hopped on the track and confidently spit a 16 opposed to prodigys near 40 bars and nearly matched. And nas verse wasnt off topic, what did want nas to do? Copy P.s. concept and talk to himself?

:rudy:

You were there while he wrote and spit that verse? :pachaha:

Yall Nas riders will do and say anything to defend him lol. Yea I dug deep in his heart and knew why he said what he said at that particular speed lol.

Anyways Pee's verse is a hell of a lot more memorable and FITS the song much better, it was so ill in terms of delivery. Yet Nas's sped up slurred off concept speech is still considered better:mjpls:

Lol, it wasnt an excuse, its the truth. Power of rap was also from 98 and were part of the og murda muzik. It explains why he killed those tracks and sounded like ass on the bridge 2001. He did get nas on that track. But u cant ignore nas nonchalantly holding his own against a top 3 p performance.
