Getting a grammy or going platinum now isn't the same as before the bell curve they added. Being nominated with people like Patti Labelle, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston is bigger than being nominated against Azalea Banks, Fergie and Taylor. And you can go platinum off of youtube views. I think it's better to look at the artistry than the numbers unless you put those numbers into context.

It's hard to fathom the sheer amount of HITS Janet has. I'm pretty sure Beyonce doesn't come close. Only person who is in that ballpark is Madonna, who has the most. Janet can literally do 90 minutes straight of #1 songs....
