Honestly "G'd Up" by itself > most of Warren G's catalog. Sounds like Battlecat been upstairs with Zapp.

that’s what I’m saying. Battlecat just did so much more work that was overlooked

I gotta go with Battlecat easily. I got love for Warren G but a lot of his shyt was tooooo smooth and laid back for me.

And he should’ve got to produce the whole 213 album. Both his remixes of Groupie Luv we’re better than every beat on that album.

Always said "Gotta Get Mine" was Warren G's best sh*t, and he actually got a lot of help on that track by Colin Wolfe, who was doing a lot of work for TLC, Goodie Mob, Outkast, Janet Jackson, Monica, etc. Warren's a legend, but he's never been on Battlecat's level, to me.

Cat is probably one of the greatest unsung producers in Hip Hop. So many classics and just ridiculous tracks that he's done over the years. Dude is still crazy behind the boards. He's always been one of the best.
