bf3 on ps3/xbox 360?

Not expecting much since on this gen plus was optional. PS4 it's required for multiplayer so it makes you think the givings won't be as much.

For those playing for the first time, some tips:
1) Playing Conquest is easier to stack up XP and level up on weapons and rank. The maps are too big for the amount of console players, so it's easier to get points capturing flags. It's much more rare to run into someone.
2) If you're good at shooting yet, you can get a lot of XP by doing supporting things such as reviving, putting down ammo crates, putting down medic kits, using SOFLAM, putting down radio beacons. Roles in BF are very important unlike COD. A squad should have elements of each depending on the scenario.
3) Rush is what BF is all about. One side defends, one side rushes the MCOMs to arm them. A lot of maps have linear choke points so there is a lot of room for getting XP in forms of kills and doing the things I listed above. If you're on defense and you know the avenues of approach, you can feast on kills with a bipod LMG.
