KOTH mode is literally Shotguns/Launchers only mode.

One of my friends is having trouble getting into the game because of how dumb EA is with the way they permanently tie emails to accounts.
He hasn't played an EA game in over 10 years.
His original EA account is tied to his current PSN with an email that he doesn't and hasn't had access to in over 10 years.
I was explaining to him that the only way for him to play the game at this point would be to make sure his PS5 is set to "home" for family sharing > create a new email > create a new PSN name > create a new EA account > link the new accounts.
It's annoying as all hell but I can't think of any other real solution.
Dude even pre-ordered the game based on us hyping it up and he was pissed to find out he's locked out of the game.

This is the narrative I keep seeing but I wholeheartedly disagree.
I liked BF3, thought it was fun and cool. I didn't swear by it like others but it was a good to very good game. BF4 is one of the goat fps experiences period imo.
BF2042 wasn't as bad as people said, I hate that if one person hates a game then casuals often repeat what the masses say. Even Socom 4 was good but that's a different game, same type of downfall.
So this game, looks like an older BF game but the gameplay is total ass. Shooting feels empty. Like the hit detection is off. I don't get the sense I shot someone as much as it feels like I shot at someone. I shot a guy with a rocket, landed on his foot. He just leapt it moving like it was a flash bang
It got a little better the more I played but overall?
I wanted that BF4 experience but this is not that
the camera feels like it's farther back? Idk, but I don't like it. COD will eventually take over because they will included destruction eventually. Especially if this cloud thing finally takes off.

I have a similar situation. The email my EA account is linked to i cant recover. However its still linked to my PS5. I changed my Ps5 email without an issue but that doesn't make a difference with EA. I can play the game fine without changing anything tho. But yeah its retarded. Very frustrating.
