Battletoads join Shovel Knight on Xbox One
The Rare-made NES classic reappears.
The Xbox One version of Shovel Knight will have a group of special guests with the appearance of 1991’s Batletoads, Yacht Club Games announced.
The Battletoads will appear re-imagined from their NES sprites in Shovel Knight‘s signature style. It’s uncertain what role they’ll play.
Also, ID@Xbox’s Chris Carla reportedly said he wonders where we’ll see Battletoad next during Microsoft’s Game Developers Conference event, suggesting Shovel Knight might not be the game’s only reappearance.
