Saw it in Berkeley a few nites ago..

Last Saturday was a one time last showing only. They had it at grand lake a month ago. I think the people who made the movie rented out the theater. shyt was so packed that people were sitting on the floor, on the steps, and standing by the door. Me and my friend got in for free cuz his female cousin is in the movie. Hella people were blazing in the theater too..Real good movie. It was better than I expected. Most of it was filmed in west Oakland, mostly the lower bottoms. The movie seemed super real, like this could actually happen...dope film, try to peep it if you can.I didn't know anything about this. The View was definitely not to be fukked with in the 90's on or off wax. These songs capture how grimey Randolph was when I was a youngsta. Thank God in heaven I survived the warzone.

I always like this version of "Livin' N The Bay" better because the beat made the song sound more serious than the album version:

to the View. I have so many nyggaz from the View and fam. The 80s and 90s were sicc as fucc in the View. Every block from The Dolph, Head street, Victoria, Ramsell, OceanView Park, Lobos street MOB, Cain street, Broad & Capitol, Plymouth & broad were all deep as fucc. Nyggaz used to be hoopin in there all day. Every nygga from 200 block of Randolph had the letterman coats with 200 on the back. The midnight basketball games used to be off the hook. The whole View was in there strapped up. RIP to all my nyggaz that have passed away from the View

to San Quinn. Its sad that dude never got on mainstream
