Is that the one on Shattuck off of Alcatraz? I heard it was no good but I ain't been there myself.
Yeah, I ordered a rib plate w/ one side...gonna eat it later once I get home. Now you got me regretting going there. The dude that run the place got a fukked up attitude, he was talking to everybody crazy. White people clutching their pearls and shyt. Was about to walk out but I wanted some bbq and I heard it was good

That smoke spot is cool, little pricey for what you get. honestly all the fire spots are closed down so you have a few like Everett and Jones thats cool and some newer spots. sad i cant really vouch for anything of top. cafe eritrea is fire for african food. edit the spot where that smoke place used to be was actually called BBQ Hut. didnt know they closed down so dont know about any newer spots

Smoking Wood BBQ in Downtown Oakland is the best bbq in the bay. Genny BBQ is good too but in the east.
Mills Hoagie has good hoagies and Wallys Cafe - while not soul food is hella good.

It was alright, macaroni n cheese is okay. The ribs weren’t tender like Everett’s but the sauce was bomb. Skip it broLet me know if it's good though
haven’t had a bad meal from there yet.
